Through the fertilization the correct measure of mineral salts of the soil is restored both in the garden and in the pots. Since every type of plant needs mineral salts throughout the year it is always good to proceed with a correct administration of the fertilizer that is neither excessive nor too poor. An excessive intake of mineral salts, in fact, risks damaging our plants as well as a low intake of nutrients. It will therefore be advisable to fertilize following specific rules and above all not to abandon and to be careful not to fertilize in the period in which our plants are in the rest period. As for the terrace or garden plants it is useful to fertilize in the spring and summer months with great regularity using liquid fertilizers that dissolve in the water at the time of watering. In the autumn months we apply the organic fertilizer in such a way that when we fertilize with organic fertilizer in autumn, in this way the salts that are deposited on the ground will be used in the spring period when they act with their nutrient supply .

For example, nitrogen is among the most widespread among mineral salts, it is useful for plants for the development of plant leaves. It is therefore appropriate to use nitrogen-based products for all green plants especially during the spring months. Phosphorus is another of the most commonly used mineral salts. Phosphorus helps plants especially when they develop their flowers. It will therefore be useful to use a fertilizer rich in phosphorus during the period of flowering of our plants. The other salt mines present mainly in many types of fertilizer and potassium. This mineral salt is very effective in the period of fruit production by our plants. Potassium helps to increase sugar intake. The potassium-rich fertilizers are used above all for the vegetable gardens due to the fact that in the latter plants are grown that will necessarily have to develop some fruits.
